Marino Kouya is a 5th grade boy who loves Gear Fighting – a sport involving ring battles between small mechanical vehicles. His brother Yuhya had been the Asian Cup Gear Fighter Champion before he died in an accident four years ago. However, Kouya`s skills are nowhere near his brother`s, and one day most of his team members shift to Manganji Club – a team created by his former teammate Manganji Takeshi. As a result, his big brother`s Crush Gear Club faces the threat of closure. Refusing to give up, Kouya offers a challenge to Takeshi and tries to find a way to reinstate the club back to its former glory.
